Kristin Diener, from Midwestern & New York-moved-Deep-South roots and now a
resident
in the Southwest, walked into her
first
jewelry class at a small Mennonite
college in 1980. That casual but auspicious beginning propelled her into an impressive career
as an artist and instructor.
After receiving her MFA in jewelry making
and metalsmithing from Bowling Green
State University, Kristin has gone on to
create bold and distinctly original artwork.
Her award winning metalwork has been featured in various publications and
exhibited nationally and internationally. Kristin's work utilizes a variety of new
and traditional silversmithing techniques
which she has been teaching for over
30 years. |
