"I cannot recall exactly why I initially signed up for Kristin's jewelry/metals course, but perhaps it was because jewelry making comes with a kind of gratification that is so different from my other work. Kristin's teaching style appealed to me immediately, and she is wonderful about encouraging students without overwhelming them. I have never considered myself particularly artistically inclined, but with Kristin's help I have created some things that I am truly proud of. The other students in the class have also been integral to my experience, as they have generously shared tools, materials, ideas, and guidance. I hope to continue to spend my evenings at Kristin's studio with her and the extraordinary people she attracts to her classes." |
