"This resizable ring is composed of one inner band that supports two raised “floating wings”, raised from underneath by silver standoffs. These wings frame the ring’s focal point, a square silver piece that appears to be suspended in the middle."

acetylene torch silver solder fabrication, sawing, filing, drilling, hand finished with 400 grit sandpaper

"The ring is made of two bands of metal that are soldered and bent into a loop that wraps onto itself, breaking the continuity of the circle. The outer silver layer exposes the brass layer underneath through several cut out shapes in the silver. The final loop sits above the finger with an open circle, ready to receive future pieces that could be interchanged with a nut and a threaded insert."
