 "I drove all the way from Flagstaff,
AZ to take Kristin's Intro to Silversmithing: Private Weekend Intensive. If you have the opportunity to take a one-on-one class with Kristin, I would definitely recommend it. Having that student-to-teacher ratio enabled me to ask her all the questions I wanted and for her to intimately direct me. She took the time to work with me until I was satisfied with my results.
She is creative but also very practical. I am in the process to trying to start my own jewelry business in Flagstaff and really like Kristin's model of classes and open studio.
The Private Weekend Intensive also included helpful information about tools, purchasing, supply sources, and |
discounts available to her students.
I have been doing bead work for about three years and started selling my creations about a year ago through my online shop and home sales. I took Kristin's Intro to Silversmithing: Private Weekend Intensive to be able to begin to incorporate silver-soldered rings and findings, cabochon and faceted stone settings, roller-printed textures and -- eventually -- gold bezel settings into my jewelry and beadwork."
