Kentuck Fest

Join Kristin at the 38th Annual Kentuck Fest in Alabama this year. The two day weekend festival offers up a diversity of art, music, live demos/classes, and fantastic food in beautiful western Alabama. Nationally recognized artists show work onsite either as guest artists or as a part of a juried show. Artwork includes folk, contemporary art, and traditional craft of over 250 different artists working in mediums ranging from quilting to metalsmithing, from photography to glass - more info here.

"Hosted by the Kentuck Museum - west Alabama's only community based arts center - we are 'where art meets community'.  Join nearly 300 artists and 30,000 festival goers who converge each year at Kentuck Park for two days of art, food, music, and fun.  Featured in Smithsonian Magazine, ranked one of the Top Ten Festivals by American Style Magazine, voted one of the Top Twenty Events by the Southeast Tourism Society and described by Southern Living magazine as 'the best of all things southern' - Kentuck celebrates its 38th year this October. Considered a must-do festival for artists and collectors alike, the 2009 Kentuck Festival of the Arts promises another year of incredible art, enthusiastic collectors, activities for all ages, a sampling of regional cuisine and entertaining music." - Kentuck Festival of the Arts

Kristin is an invited demonstrating artist. Join her either day to see her showcase her talent and work, and gain insight into the way she creates her artwork.
