ALBUQUERQUE NOW Show
Albuquerque Now: Winter is the second of two installations of diverse work by artists of the metropolitan area and organized by Andrew Connors, Curator of Art. Albuquerque Now celebrates the diversity of visual culture in all of its active manifestations, from traditional woodworking to digital video, from printmaking to installation art. Kristin's piece, New Orleans & Alabama/Mississippi Gulf Coast Love Story: Loss & Lament: Fertility Reliquary II, (pictured at left) is featured in the show.
The show is ongoing from January 24 - April 18, 2010.
Come see Kristin and her work at the free event opening for the show on Saturday,
January 23, 2010 from 7pm - 9pm.
The admission is free and open to the public with a cash bar and live music.

City of Albuquerque Public Art
The City of Albuquerque Public Art program, one of the oldest in the country, has been building a carefully curated collection for the past 31 years. The collection highlights artists of Albuquerque and New Mexico and represents a broad variety of traditional, cultural, and modern expressions. NOW, Kristin's piece, Bird Girl's Search for Water: Eyeglasses, has been acquired by the City of Albuquerque as part of the Public Arts program and is part of the permanent collection.
